reduce electricity use is key word

what do you think about nuke crisis in japan? situation of many japanese remains serious and bad policy decision of japanese government lead to more serious situation.

but japanese government still don't want to stop nukes and even want to build the new nukes. why they don't want to give up nuke? because they want to deal with new radioactive technology for nuclear bomb production.

our government's nuke policy is not for our good life and future. politicians and economists only think about nuclear bomb.

so now is the time to know the way to protect ourselves from that evil babylon system.

yes! reducing the electricity consumption is the key word to escape from babylon system.
you believe that we can't live without electricity. actually, electricity is necessary for our modern lives, but i think we can reduce its consumption. people use too much electricity now.
how can we reduce it?

what i am doing for reducing electricity use is....

1. vegan: meat production needs much water and energy than vegetable production.

2. home composting: food waste is burning waste in japan (require much fuel) and send to landfills in thailand(methane emission).
3. local market (nearby farmers market) is cheaper and no excessive packaging. (but now local farmers use too much chemical)- one of my friends are doing project to reduce chemicals and i am going to join them.
4. home gardening.

6. walking exercise: i walk to school every morning. (3km)
etc.

i think you have more ideas...

Burn Down Babylon System

this is japanese famous reggae musician's video clip"desert city" from his old album "new stuff"

its' lyric describes about "babylon system" well, but lyric is all japanese.
i believe you are impressed if you understand the meaning of lyric.

lyrics "desert city"

Look at that gray town like a desert decorated with green.
people are crazy for shopping but never satisfied their desire.
furthermore my place became narrower,
so it's not enough to stretch my arms.
smile until yesterday was fake dream land.
gray town is lasting like a desert.
impressive tenderness thirst more,
feeling loneliness freeze me,
impressive tenderness thirst more,
happiness that everyone's wishing is trickery illusion.

why did many people fail to escape the tsunami?

when i went to clean the sludge at a house near the sea, the house owner told us why some neighbors failed to escape the tsunami. he said there was tsunami warning alarm for many times when it occurred. but tsunami alarming system was down in some area because of the failure of electric power supply. so many people around there failed to notice the alarming....

after i heard that story i thought traditional fire bell was better... but i read newspaper article, the story of one fireman, mr. fujio koshita, who risked his life to save the residents... he'd rung the bell until the bell tower was crushed by the big wave. and he is still missing until now.

it was true that he saved a lot of people, but i felt so sad to hear it... but i felt better after reading another newspaper article, a comment of high school student "the fireman was brave. i proud of him". his spirits is still alive in the next generation.

underground nuclear power plant

i was very surprised that i knew the news about underground nuke! there are politicians who wanna promote nuke construction... now, some countries decided to abandon nuke, but only victim by nuke bomb japan still planning to build a new plant...

first seminar of "underground nuclear power plant promotion parliamentary group" was held on may 31 and about 20 diet members, including former pm yoshiro mori, attended it. the chairman takeo hiranuma said 'japan established the technology to create a large cave under the ground so it 's very meaningful for safety to build the underground nuclear power plant'

this project had started to examine during pm miki, and the informal gathering was held within the LDP in 1991 but after that it had declined. in this time that gathering has expanded into the parliamentary group, and former pm yukio hatoyama(LDP) and shizuka kamei (national democratic party) have joined as the advisors, too.

The fear of Tsunami

When I went to help clear sludge around the house, I heard a story of that house owner's wife. The day of Tsunami was happened, he and his daughter weren't at home. When Tsunami occurred, mom was at home alone and failed to escape. The water level was up to 2m, so she held on a beam of her house. After that water level was up to 3m, she caught tatami and held on it for 2 hours. It was very cold and snowy. Rubbles, broken cars and house pieces attacked on the pillar and broke them. But she was lucky not to be hit by rubbles. If the rubbles hit her.... Can you image her fear and suffering? And we also know that there were lots of victims like her, and most of them died...
